Operation ReConnect - Smith Lake Expansion

 Welcome to Operation ReConnect - Smith Lake! We are excited to branch out from our roots along Coastal Alabama in this new endeavor! Memorial Day Weekend 2023, is the kick-off to expanding northward!

This effort will resemble our past actions along the Gulf Coast - with some minor modifications. Our program along the Gulf Coast was built on the concept of providing 7-night stays to Combat Veterans (and their families) who have faced an overseas deployment. At Smith Lake, we understand there is a unique opportunity for families to spend less time, 3 to 5 days, while still accomplishing and keeping the ReConnect Spirit alive. Our program is about one thing and one thing only - providing quality time to families who have served our country!

We would be honored to collaborate with those of you who have interest in donating vacant periods of time in your property at Smith Lake. Our goal is to serve military families in the central southeastern United States who may not have the ability to travel for a full 7-night stay along the Gulf Coast. Property donations from 3 to 7 nights are greatly appreciated!
